WhatsApp New Features : New Storage UI and Always ‘Mute’ Options

WhatsApp has released Mute option which has been enabled for Always.Earlier there only we can see the 8 hours. 1 week and 1 month option.

The feature is appearing today for beta testers. If it does not appear, please be patient and you will receive this option within a few days.

WhatsApp Beta reported “In this update WhatsApp is enabling for several users a feature called Always Mute, a new option that replaces “1 year” when muting a chat.

You can easily understand what’s this feature: you can finally mute a chat forever!

It is worth noting that once you mute a chat, you will receive messages sent to the group, but your phone will not vibrate or make noise when they're received. 

How To Mute Chats ‘Always’

• Open a WhatsApp chat that you wish to mute

• Then Open three dot Tabs

• You can see “Mute Notifications Tab

• You will get three options - 8 Hours, 1 Week and Always.

The Storage section has been fully redesigned and we can easily understnad how much data inside in our whatsapp.WhatsApp  released the  new update:  in 2.20.201.9 version.

WhatsApp Beta Said:

The first section has a modern storage bar. It’s very useful to understand the portion of space occupied your media files.

The second section helps us to review all shared files, in order to delete unnecessary media, so we can free up space

In this we can delete option for each files and also there is a preview option for each files. We can easily ort out the app files like pictures,audio and other documents.
