Instagram has started rolling out its anticipated Reels feature in India. The latest Reels feature has brought upon a similar platform like TikTok which has been recently banned in India. How to Get Instagram Reels?

Reels is a video-editing tool, which allows users to come up with TikTok-style 15-second videos that can be shared on Instagram Stories, sent via DM or posted to a section on the Explore tab called Reels.

• Open Instagram Camera and select Reels option at the bottom of the screen
• Tap on the Audio option and select the desired song to play in the background of the video
• Users can also use original audio by recording a video using their respective devices' internal mics
• Add AR effects or edit the video using Timer, Speed and Edit options provided

                 

• After creating the video, users can share it with either just their followers or everyone on Instagram
• Post the Instagram Reel video

How to Save Reels video?

TikTok made it really easy to download and share videos, but Instagram Reels does not.

Open Instagram > tap search > open the Reels video that you'd like to download.

Alternatively, you can also visit a user's profile > hit the new Reels tab, which you'll notice now sits next to the IGTV tab > select the Reels video that you'd like to download and open it.

Once the video is loaded, hit the three-dots icon > tap Save.

                           

To access the saved Reels video, go back to Instagram's homescreen > tap your profile icon > tap the hamburger icon > tap Settings > go to Account > go to Saved.
